While the country fights the battle against Covid 19, many of us in this remote and rural part of the country feel safer than most. Yet the virus’s insidious tendrils are still probing our towns and villages and we must ensure that we keep safe by adhering to distancing measures and travel restrictions. Unfortunately, for us golfers it means that whilst Golf Clubs have just opened the prospect of visiting a different golf course each month and enjoying a bacon roll and a meal after a sociable round of golf is far-removed from where we are at present.
Therefore for bored golfers we’d like to take you down memory lane with a competition. The lucky winner will win a bottle of spirits of their choice (for KGS members) or a bottle of wine (for non-members).
The accompanying photographs are selected from our Flickr archive of golf courses played by the Society over the last 15 years. The first person to identify all the courses will be the winner. Entries please to info@kilgettygolf.co.uk. In the event that no one guesses them all, the one who identifies the most before the 8th June will win.
Good luck and good health.
